Eventmap will be attending PATAT 2016.

August 17, 2016

Eventmap will be sponsoring and attending the PATAT 2016 Conference at the University of Udine on the 23rd-26th of August in Udine, Italy.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with PATAT (Practice and Theory of Automated Timetabling), it’s a biennial conference that serves as a forum for an international community of researchers, practitioners and vendors of computer-aided timetable generation. It’s where the leading minds of our industry get together to help shape where it’s going and discuss the latest advances in our field.

This year’s conference will be covering the latest research and technology in Educational, Employee and Healthcare Timetabling. Speakers include Marco Lübbecke from RWTH Aachen University, Douglas Moody from the New York City College of Technology, Sanja Petrovich from University of Nottingham and Thomas Stützle from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Our Managing Director, Dr. Barry McCollum, serves as permanent co-chair of the PATAT committee and Eventmap have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with  the conference.  We’re looking forward to for three days of debate and discussion from some of the finest minds in the field.
