Eventmap MD in new ambassadorial role for PlanSIG

Eventmap’s Managing Director, Dr. Barry McCollum, has been invited to take up an ambassadorial role with the UK PlanSIG (Planning & Scheduling Special Interest Group).

PlanSIG is a respected annual forum where academics, industrialists and research students from around the world can meet and discuss current issues in the many areas of planning and scheduling – all in an informal setting.

Barry’s role will be to promote an enhanced focus on automated timetabling within PlanSIG and to help promote PlanSIG to the wider world of planning, scheduling and timetabling both in academia and industry.

Barry will also be giving a talk entitled ‘Planning in Timetabling’ at this year’s PlanSIG event, which takes place at the Darlington Campus of Teesside University on 15th and 16th of December.
