PATAT is a biennial series of international conferences on the practice and theory of automated timetabling which serves as a forum for an international community of researchers, practitioners and vendors involved with all aspects of computer-aided timetable generation. This year’s event is the tenth and will be taking place in York on the last week of August.
We’re excited to announce that, besides our role in co-chairing and assisting with the organisation of the conference, EventMAP will again be one of the main event sponsors. This year the packed schedule includes some heavyweight keynote speakers from within academia and industry – as well as a busy week of presentations and workshops. These have traditionally provided an invaluable forum for practitioners and researchers to find new and innovative ways of aligning practical timetabling needs with research objectives.
