Mark the date: on February 28th 2014 we’ll be hosting the inaugural EventMAP User Symposium at Imperial College in London. It’s a chance for our users to meet up, talk with us – and each other – and see where the Optime platform is headed in the next few years. It’ll also be a chance for us to get more of the kind of invaluable feedback from our clients that we rely on to keep our products and solutions relevant and responsive.
We’ve planned a busy day, which will include:
State of the Nation: EventMAP’s Managing Director Dr. Barry McCollum will be discussing the company’s past and present, and how wider trends within academia are influencing product development – followed by a user discussion session centred around individual experiences of using Optime Academic software in the field.
Roadmaps: EventMAP’s Technical Director, Dr. Paul McMullan will be discussing the company’s developmental roadmap in an exciting preview of future functionality and what lies ahead at the cutting edge of timetabling and resource optimisation software. Over to You: A discussion and feedback session where Optime users can share how they see their needs evolving in the years ahead.
EventMAP in Consultancy: Dr. McCollum will lead a user discussion on the consultancy services that EventMAP provides for higher education.
The Software: Eventmap staff will run through the suite of Optime software, highlighting some of the most interesting features of the current releases and demonstrating our innovative new Portal product. Delegates will have the chance to talk directly to the people behind the software and directly involved in the day-to-day development of our products.
We still have a very limited number of places available – if you’d like to attend, please get in touch.
