EventMAP Welcomes Tim Dix as Partnership Development Manager

EventMAP welcomes Tim Dix to the team

July 14, 2026

As partnership is central to our solutions, EventMAP is pleased to welcome Tim Dix to the team as Partnership Development Manager, strengthening our focus on customer relationships, strategic partnerships and long-term value for organisations using our optimisation and planning solutions.

Tim joins EventMAP with around 20 years’ experience working with universities and colleges across the UK. Throughout his career, he has built trusted relationships with more than 50 institutions, supporting them through evolving priorities, renewal discussions, stakeholder engagement and the adoption of technology designed to deliver measurable operational value.

Having worked across account management and business development roles in the tertiary education sector, Tim brings a strong consultative approach to his new position. His experience spans long-term account development, targeted outreach, bid writing and supporting institutions with complex, multi-stakeholder requirements.

“I’ve spent most of my career working with universities and colleges across the UK, and it is a sector I’ve genuinely grown to care about,” said Tim. “What has stayed constant throughout that time is the importance of listening well, asking good questions and focusing on helping institutions move forward towards successful outcomes.”

Tim was drawn to EventMAP by both the strength of the team and the impact of the company’s optimisation and planning platform. Several of his new colleagues are former colleagues and long-standing professional connections, giving him immediate confidence in the culture, collaboration and quality of delivery within the business.

“I’ve joined EventMAP because of the people as much as the product,” Tim added. “The platform genuinely moves the needle for institutions, and it felt like the right place to bring my experience and continue supporting digital transformation across the sector.”

In his role as Partnership Development Manager, Tim will work closely with customers to support onboarding, strengthen account relationships and help institutions get the most from EventMAP’s Optime suite of optimisation and planning tools. Over the next 12 months, he will focus on developing structured account plans, mapping stakeholder networks, identifying expansion opportunities and supporting customers as a trusted strategic partner.

Tim’s appointment reflects EventMAP’s continued commitment to building strong partnerships with institutions and helping them plan confidently for the future through intelligent optimisation, scheduling and resource management.
