We’re delighted to be able to announce that our very own KTP Associate Simon Kingston has just received a prestigious award for his work.

Simon has been busy working away on our Channel 4 project in association with the University of Nottingham as part of an Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership – which is, in itself, an elite programme with exacting criteria for qualification. So, it’s a huge accolade for Simon to have won a coveted ‘Best Future Innovator’ award in the KTP Best of the Best Awards 2019 for his work so far on the project. The awards shine a spotlight each year on the KTP projects that have delivered above and beyond expectation and Simon’s award is for Associates who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills, above and beyond the normal expectations of a KTP Associate.

Besides being a testament to the enormously high standard of Simon’s work, it’s also a very proud moment for the company. The awards ceremony is on May 2nd at the Royal Society of Chemistry in London – we’ll update with some photos from the event.

About Knowledge Transfer Partnerships: KTP aims to help businesses improve their competitiveness and productivity through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within the UK knowledge base. They are funded by UK Research and Innovation through Innovate UK as part of the government’s Industrial Strategy. The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) delivers the KTP programme on behalf of Innovate UK.

About EventMAP’s KTP project: Working in association with the University of Nottingham, this project is bringing EventMAP’s core optimisation technologies into the world of television advertising spot scheduling – building into existing proprietary technology to enhance purchasing options and refine the scheduling and distribution of linear TV ads across national and regional buying packages for Channel 4.
