NHS Education for Scotland (NES) embrace Hybrid Working through the adoption of EventMAP’s Booker Desk solution
NHS Education Scotland deploy Optime Booker to manage desk bookings as part of their return to work strategy
We are delighted to announce that NHS Education for Scotland have unleashed the “Hot Desking” capability of EventMAP’s Optime Booker solution, to support the return to work of their employees.
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is an education and training body, and a national health board within NHS Scotland. They are responsible for developing and delivering healthcare education and training for the NHS, health and social care sector and other public bodies. They have office accommodation throughout Scotland, and during the pandemic many workers have been working remotely.
Goal: Support Back to Office
As with many organisations, NES has been fortunate enough to facilitate employees in continuing their duties by working from home. However, now that the vaccination programmes have been successfully running, and a vast majority of the UK population have protection from the worst aspects of Covid, tentative steps to encourage staff back into the office are being made through EventMAP’s Booker software.
Approximately 500+ office workspaces/desks have been put on to the Booker system. These spaces have been configured to ensure social distancing in the workplace. This protection can be refined to reflect the Covid situation, and the safeguarding needs of the organisation. Staff are being encouraged to book time in the office partly to support the ongoing need for people to collaborate effectively, but also provide a transition period, where staff can become reacquainted with going back into the office on a hybrid/flexible working basis.
