EventMAP announces strategic partnership with Stride Treglown one of the top 10 architectural practices in the UK.

January 18, 2022

EventMAP is pleased to announce its strategic partnership with Stride Treglown, a Certified B Corporation*, and one of the top 10 architectural practices in the UK.  EventMAP’s expertise in estate planning, workspace modelling and asset optimisation has seamlessly dovetailed into Stride Treglown’s design planning process, merging insight-driven optimisation with human-centric design. It is an exciting time. This unique combination of planning and design expertise can help define the new market leaders in a forever-changed world.

Stride Treglown has a long and distinguished history in University design and delivery.  EventMAP are a highly regarded planning and resource optimisation specialist with decades of experience across multiple sectors including Higher Education.  The partnership between Stride Treglown and EventMAP provides clients with an outstanding team strongly focused on resource planning and optimisation to inform a quality design outcome.

Their most recent collaboration was a wide-reaching project assessing the opportunities for blended working in Estate planning for a major University member of the Russell Group.

The emergence of COVID 19 has significantly disrupted individuals and organisations worldwide.  The Higher Education sector is no exception, with a majority of students and staff not being able to attend the campus over the past 18 months.  Getting used to new ways of learning and working has stretched the resourcefulness of staff and students.  The relative success of working off campus has provided the sector with opportunities to reconsider the reconfigure the estate.  Whilst no one welcomes a pandemic, there are opportunities to apply the hard-learned lessons of lockdowns, informing planning for a better future.

The Stride Treglown and EventMAP partnership has informed and optimised physical spaces to reflect a post COVID world.  Agile working has the potential to reduce the number of workspaces required across estates and open opportunities to reallocate surplus space to meet other strategic needs.  The team’s work has identified the quantum of current workspace not required under a range of future agile working strategies and scenarios.

The client has engaged Stride Treglown and EventMAP through most of 2021 in delivery of the overall project goals.  EventMAP deployed its Planner application a unique tool that models the impact of flexible working practices on the estate.  Working with Stride Treglown, EventMAP have documented the assumptions and impacts across a wide range of scenarios as to how the client could access the campus into the future.

The client can now confidently plan for the transition of current workspaces to meet emerging needs.  The successful engagement with Stride Treglown and EventMAP has given the client a data driven, quantifiable and responsive outcome.

EventMAP have considerable experience in the planning of workspace requirements across Universities, the Government, and private sectors.  The current project has a focus on workspace planning, however, EventMAP’s planning expertise extends to learning spaces, research spaces and student support spaces.

EventMAP and Stride Treglown are looking forward to continuing the strategic partnership across a range of exciting projects.
