EventMAP announces new display systems partner

After a lengthy search for a ‘right-fit’ partner for EventMAP’s client-side room-booking and announcement display systems, we’re pleased to announce a new partnership with Spectra Displays in Cambridgeshire to provide a standard hardware solution that can be specified with our software systems in a turnkey package.

Spectra were chosen because of their 30-year track record in the field of visual display systems and installation. As one of the UK’s leading commercial display contractors, they have an unparalleled reputation for delivering robust, elegant solutions and for having a skilled workforce who take huge pride in their work. We were certainly very impressed with what they came up with for us.

EventMAP’s room-booking solution Booker will be the first to benefit from this new partnership, using Spectra’s bespoke Android-based touchscreen room display screens. The solution, which features high-quality commercial LG panels, will allow users to walk up to a display panel to, amongst other things, check room availabilities, book a room, check in to a meeting and extend bookings in-situ.

Other Booker solutions currently in development include new lobby display systems, way-finders and kiosks. Other new solutions currently in development also include an in-situ lecture theatre view for Timetabler and in-situ seating plan view for Exam.

With this new partnership, we expect to be able to provide an expanded, one-stop solution for all our clients, delivering robust front-end systems for busy campuses and offices, and industry-leading ease-of-use for end users.
