Getting the week off to a great start, we’re pleased to announce yet another new project for EventMAP – providing high-end consultancy services for the University of Tasmania (UTAS)’s new West Park campus in Bernie, North West Tasmania.

EventMAP, in partnership with New Learning Environments (NLE), will identify the amount and type of space required to support UTAS course delivery. By creating an interactive space projection model using our bespoke software tools, EventMAP will generate space requirements across a range of scenarios and project the resultant space utilisation rates.

Our expertise and experience in working in the Higher Education sector over two decades will guide the application of optimisation values against space drivers to ensure long-term, efficient operations for the West Park campus.

EventMAP has provided the opportunity to UTAS to undertake a timetabling optimisation exercise on the preferred Schedule of Accommodation to demonstrate the effectiveness of the space in meeting the University’s strategic goals for the new campus.

If you’d like to find out more about how EventMAP can plan and model the most effective use of new physical resources within your university or training institution, please visit our SpaceMAP page.
